I (25M) am divorced as of recently and haven't told anyone at work yet. I have a coworker (23?F) who I've had a crush on for awhile and her last day is this Friday, but we work remotely on Thursday and on Friday, so she said goodbye to everyone today.
I'd like to ask her out but I'm trying to decide two things:
Is it even appropriate to ask her out at all? She doesn't know I'm divorced yet, and obviously I would tell her. I wouldn't ask her out if she wasn't leaving because it's never a good idea to date a coworker, but now that she's leaving would it be fine?
Can I give her my number and ask her out, or is it better to wait until Friday or even after that?
