I have 2 SSD.

-Samsung M.2 1 TB

-From my old gaming leptop 512GB (M.2)

One of them is for just windows other one for my game files. I wanna try SteamOS and buy a third SSD for SteamOS. Can i use the SSD for my game files for both OS to get my game files? I am not an expert but i think i am not able to use same game files for both of them, but at least can i use the Samsung SSD for both OS as a drive or it has to be formatted just for one OS?

Because of SSD prices i dont wanna pay for a 1Tb SATA SSD about double price right now just for an experiment
