I had just finished doing a couple test runs for catching it and then I repositioned myself closer to it at the top of the stairs. I reset maybe 3 times before it actually shined.. I hunted shiny Lugia on SS back in the day so I’m no stranger to long and grueling hunts. I was prepared to go at this for the next two weeks if I had to. Ended up catching it in a luxury ball when it had only 8pp left, barely saving me from having to use my master ball. My friend probably hates me now because I yelled so freaking loud while we were on a discord call as I was setting this up.
