I purchased BD in 2021 when the game came out, but got really busy and never got around to playing the game.

I’ve been playing Pokemon since Pokemon Red, and I own and beat all the mainline games.

Since I bought the game, I would lurk this reddit page for fun, always hoping one day I’d have time to play the game. I finally (five years later) had some time and decided to play through BD.

I have seen everyone on this page complain about Cynthia for five years now, and really thought everyone was just being dramatic.

After 3 hours of losing to her last night. I feel like I owe you an apology. You were right.

I think I need to do some more grinding, because I tried every strategy I could and didn’t even come close.

Aye yoo! I just recently hopped back into the games after not playing for many years. Just looking for some people to trade and play the games with. Or even just chat on discord about the games honestly.

I used to breed shiny/competitive Pokémon on X/Y/ORAS. Had hundreds of hours in those games. I pretty much forgot all the details that go into that though, so I'm looking to get back into it and re-teaching myself.

Right now im hopping between Fire Red, Legends Arceus, Shield, and Starting Brilliant Diamond. I have Champions, but haven't really dove into it yet.

Also, if anyone knows any good discord groups to join that would also be helpful! Look forward to hopefully getting to know some new people! 😁

Other than waiting until Friday is there any other way to get the driftloon entry in the Pokedex? (I've beaten Cynthia just waiting on this lil guy)

I just played for an hour last night and another hour this afternoon completing 90% of the digs I’ve done and only get 1x Small Mysterious Shard.

Im ready to give up getting the legendaries and selling the game , they really expect you to put in as many house as the base game just to get these mysterious shards ?

I won't be able to get Darkrai in my BD copy

At least I got him in PLA, but I am so pissed I missed the original event

I've been shiny hunting Regirock lately and I'm currently burned out and want to continue playing the other parts of the game. I just want to ask if it's safe to run away from it and shiny hunt it in the future. I'm a bit skeptical when I asked Google because it has been feeding me false information lately like you can catch Poochyena in 214 with Pokeradar where in fact you can only catch Mightyena.
