Have only ever seen codes ending in 000. Hoping to find a 002 or even 001 but what’s up with this one?

Hey guys, PokéNerd here. I’m looking for a specific item (highlighted yellow) in the game, and the only way to find one is by having a Pokemon in your party with the ability ”Pickup” ability randomly pick one up post-battle

It’s a 1% chance they find that specific item, and there’s two in the 1% slot

I’m wondering what the probability of one of my six pokemon to find that specific item?

Also, I’m only using pkmn level 51-60, because I’m guessing it makes no difference due to the item still being only 1% in both 51-60 & 61-70 tiers? Would it be smart to have let’s say 3 in the lower tier, and then the other 3 in the higher tier?

Spilled a little rubbing alcohol at the work bench and the label started to peel right off. This cartridge was giving the “game cannot be read, please turn off the DS and try again” message non-stop. But after copious amounts of scrubbing, it works fine and saves

Hey does anyone have the games you can catch Tiny Pokemon on? This screenshot is from Champions mobile app, in which I recruited a very strong “Tiny” Mamoswine

However, since it’s recruited and on an Alt account for mobile, there’s no way to trade it to Home so I can get it to my main Champions act on the Switch. I’m looking to get a tiny one simply because regular sized Mamo’s take up like half the screen while battling lol I have a few shinies up for grabs if anyone can help, big thx

Been playing on lichess w/out an account for the last few months. It’s nice to not worry about ELO, and jump right in 3min matchmaking w/out knowing how skilled my opponent is

Have faced off against some seriously good players, one who even jumped their knight around the five turns letting me develop some pieces lol when I first started on lichess random, I would lose every game and very quickly. After a few months, am now winning about 3, or 4 games out of 10. Small gains!

But yea, any moves in this position? Made some pretty questionable pawn pushes myself the turn prior. I’m being threatened to lose my rook, and moving it would have only left my knight hanging. Thanks for lookin

Hey everyone, so picked up this flash cart off eBay. Talking w the seller, they had stated that it was their kids long ago and they have zero clue if it actually works. Took the gamble…and was pleasantly surprised to see it booted right up

My main goal with this thing is to be able to play DS/GBA games on the DS lite (obv) however, I also had plans of gutting a junked GBA carriage so that I could put the main chip into a shell, so that it’s compatible with Gameboy SP’s as well

Not sure if that’s even feasible, but was definitely looking forward to having a flash cart that’d both work on DS/GBA consoles

For the record, I have no idea what the DS cart that came with it is for, and all I’ve done so far was drag&drop games into the DS/GBA folders, hoping it’d be that easy

It is not..so hoping some of you here could help me troubleshoot this. Will post follow up vid of what happens when it’s plugged into PC shortly. Big thx

Picked up a micro for a sweet deal over the weekend. The previous owner said it was broken, but after a simple battery replacement…it works!

The power switch clicks on and off just fine, but while booted up, if the switch is bumped or moved in any way..the console will sometimes restart.

Is there a way to strengthen it? Vaguely remember my last micro doing this, too, but it’s been over a decade…can’t remember if it was this bad or not

Super disappointed that we can’t just go to the attack index and teach say, Hydro Pump, to an EZ-Bake Oven Rotom and have it change to Wash Form like it did in the earlier games

Hey guys, just semi-recently started playing Violet after getting my first switch. It’s been years since playing a main series game (ORAS!) so I am excited to be back

With the new mass out breaks announced, I thought it would be cool to shiny hunt the Febas and White Stripe Basculin. The thing is, I have no idea how to shiny hunt on here, besides something to do with food or a picnic?

Currently in game(with DLC) I have 3 or 4 badges, and have every Titan pokemon beat -yes, I took down Titan Dondozo with level 26 pkmn lol- so range is no problem, for I can traverse through mainly the entire map, and have Fly Points to each and every pkmn center

Keep in mind this is my first pokemon game since the 3DS/grid-based days, so exploring the entire map was super cool and that’s why I didn’t focus on picking up gym badges really

But now wondering if I would have to complete the game to make shiny hunting easier? I know a shiny charm does exist, but not sure how to get that. And the food stuff, oo my the food stuff caught me so off guard when I first hit town and saw what looked like actual food I buy IRL lol but figured you guys could give the pro run down since I’m new to SV. Big thx!

Tailwind expired for my opponent right before sending in Guard..maybe that had something to do with it?

Usually when a Kings Rock is flung onto a target, it causes them to flinch 100% of the time

It’s a niche way to “Fake Out” a mon that usually can’t be faked out (ex: farig w Armor Tail, Ghost type mons) However, noticed it says “But It Failed” and the damn giraffe got off another free TR once again

Things to note: followed up in a second game and tried to Fling Kings Rock onto a Gholdengo (fling is Dark type move) and it still failed and I dropped that set

Blundered and forgot to put Kings Rock on Lop right after first teaching it Fling. My Focus Sash was 100% thrown onto their mon, so that worked and went through. I’m sure my opponent was scratching their head at that Turn One

Have used the FlingsRock technique in this game to great success with Weavile. Also, have seen it work with Raichu before, so seems its not exclusive to only Dark Type mons

Anyone know wtf is going on here? Also - did Torkoal just bark?
