I am a rural player and no one else plays near me so I’ve added several friends I don’t know irl and invite them to mushrooms pretty much every day. A couple times now I’ve invited a new friend to a mushroom and they’ve immediately used their bullhorn on it as well and it immediately filled up with their friends. Obviously no one owns a mushroom, but am I wrong to be annoyed that people are doing this? I invited my friends that invite me back to their mushrooms and now there’s no room for them. Once someone does this I typically just don’t invite them anymore but I’m wondering if in the community this is a normal thing to do?

I just started playing a week ago, and I realized I really need to start moving more. I’ve got plenty of walking trails near me, but we’re currently under a heat advisory and it’s ROUGH out there. I was going to take a walk last night when it was a bit cooler but of course it started raining. What are some things you do to get your steps in when the weather is bad? So far my only idea is to do laps at Walmart.

I'm currently participating in a Party Walk that runs right up until my birthday (September 6th!). It's been great getting my steps in here in Brazil, but lately, I've been having this strong urge to delete my account and start completely from zero once my birthday arrives.

Has anyone else here done a full reset? I feel like a clean slate could be really refreshing and motivating, but part of me wonders if I'll regret losing my current Pikmin, decor, and badges.

I'd love to hear your experiences or thoughts on starting over. Is it worth it?

Then I looked it up and found out that today, the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, is Qixi Festival, traditionally associated with making wishes.

Just curious! Are they even still available? I’m from the country side where every decor Pikmin aside from forest and roadside is coveted, and I will be heading to the city. But I want the rare roadside decor, still.

So, do people who live in cities ever find roadside Pikmin? Are they still a possibility?

I think Pikmin Bloom's search function has some features a lot of people are unaware of. I noticed some things that aren't documented on the official text search function post or pikminwiki's interface page (mostly the mushroom keyword for flowers/petals).

I've tried to condense important information, so this post assumes you have used the search function before. Check out the aforementioned links if you leave this post with any confusion!

Pikmin

• flower status: leaf | bud | bloom | flower | wilted | <flower type>
  • bloom means flowers have not been plucked
• organization: favorite | squad | busy | standby | lifelog | <location> | <year>
  • location only includes what's shown on pikmin info screen
• decor: decor | special | rare | <decor name>
• friendship: X* | X-Y* (0-8)
  • X = HeartCount or LowerBound, Y = UpperBound (optional), '*' denotes friendship

Helpful Examples

• =flower
  • '=' makes search exact, excluding flower box/crown decor pikmin
• "<decor name>"&!decor
  • yields pikmin that have yet to acquire their decor type
• (rock;purple)&(leaf;bud)&special&!8*
  • optimized for strengthening special mushroom squads
  • special can be replaced with <decor type> (ex. balinese) for strongest decor

Flowers & Nectar

• keywords: seasonal | mushroom/available

Useful Examples:

• mushroom&white
  • show all nectar/petals white and crystal mushrooms are currently yielding

Note: I don't think you can search by quantity? Unfortunate, please correct me if I'm wrong

Postcards

• <location>| year
• X* | X-Y* (1-4)
  • yields mushroom rank, exact or range. works like friendship search

Note: can't search for specific people :(

Logical Operators

• AND: {expr}&{expr}
• OR: {expr};{expr}
• NOT: !{expr}
• GROUPING: ({expr})
• Evaluate "as-is": "{expr}"
  • allows searching for nicknames and locations containing logical operators
• Exact Match: ={expr}
• Order of Operations:
  • group () -> NOT ! -> AND & -> OR ;

Note: there are multiple options for some of these. It's best to pick one to avoid confusion, and these are the most clear in my opinion.

Tips & Quirks

• sort your pikmin before searching!
• your selected pikmin persist if you cancel your search, allowing you to do multiple searches.
  • can't change sorting method in between searches if pikmin are selected, though
• special isn't actually a keyword filter (exact match) for event decors. I just included it in that section because it should be used as such, otherwise it causes confusion surrounding nicknames/locations. but yeah, typing "sp" will yield all special decors.
