Anyone else release all their wurst guys today?
I'm not bothered about fighting mushrooms next year. I'm just happy to see the little poo people go.

The next meeting of the new DenverMeets book club is on the calendar for Sunday, Sept 20 at 4. We'll meet at the Schoolyard Beer Garden, and talk about Five by Ilona Bannister.
Let me know if you want to be added to the group chat, or just drop in and join us!
Sometimes I see people slow cooking event mushrooms in the middle of the month, but I don't understand the advantage of it.
Is it that you've timed the monthly challenges so exactly, you can have mushrooms finish right when you hit that challenge?
What are these straight lines of planted flowers I keep seeing? I've seen them go over a big building without breaking the line.
Our book club is having it's 2nd meeting on Sunday August 9! 4:00 at the Schoolyard Beer Garden.
We have two book options: you can read either one or both. Hope to see you there! https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/35066358-the-first-fifteen-lives-of-harry-august

I only got maybe one huge seedling a month in the past, and lately I've been getting around one every other day. I wondered if it's another change they're testing, along with the map changes. Anyone else seeing this?
I've been playing for 5 months or so, and they're definitely my favorite so far.
I waa bummed the month of the Nintendo cartridges.
The first meeting of the DenverMeets-inspired book club is on the calendar.
July 12 at 4, at the Schoolyard Beer Garden. We're reading The Lies of Locke Lamora. Come join us.
We all know that farming our conversations for advertising is the whole reason social media exists, but sometimes a reminder like this icks me out.
I just finished The Long Earth since TP coauthored, and I wasn't a huge fan--I didn't feel his voice in it at all.
But it made me think, tho Discworld is far and away my favorite series, there are still a couple that don't click for me. So I'm curious--what are your least favorite books and why?
I listened to the Soul Music audiobook recently, and I'd forgotten how much the puns grated on me by the end.
I haven't had a good book club for a while, so I'm going to try starting my own.
I'm thinking meeting once per month, at a coffee shop to start. I tend to lean toward fiction, but I'll read pretty much anything that's well written.
I'm 48F, FYI, but welcome all ages, genders, and people generally. Comment if you're interested and we'll coordinate schedules.
I'm still pretty new at the game, and I'm wondering about the random other seasonal flowers that come up, that aren't part of this month's challenges. Like this month it's lily of the valley and carnations, before it's been baby blue eyes or cherry blossoms.
Will those eventually come up in challenges? I'm curious if you ever end up with flowers you can't use for anything specific.
Thanks--I appreciate how helpful you all are!
I had around 80 bird of paradise petals. I know I didn't use them, but they're gone now.
Has this happened to anyone? I'm pretty new at that, been playing since March.
