2.8 lbs of sterling silver…at least I think?!?!?
I think I might have just stumbled on the biggest find of my life!

AI has given me many different responses
Does anyone recognize this hallmark? From plated chain necklaces. Other visible stamps include “925 ITALY”.
Google image search has proven to be useless as expected…
Thanks! 🙏
It really looks like coin silver. Before 1870 Gorham didn't use sterling or coin hallmarks. I don't see any indication it's plated. I posted it yesterday but this is a better up to date with closer photos and the hallmarks. I only paid $15 so at the end of the day it's not huge investment.
Hi everyone! I have a silver goblet with two different sets of assay/hallmarks. I was able to identify the second-picture marks as British foreign assay marks, including the maker’s mark beginning with L.L.
What I haven’t been able to identify are the marks in the third picture. I’ve searched quite a bit but haven’t had any luck figuring out their origin or meaning.
Hoping someone here might recognize them or be able to point me in the right direction. Thanks!
Can you help me identify the stamp on this bangle? It’s a bit worn, or maybe I just can’t find the right angle to read it. Any ideas?
I found this ring on a beach in North Norfolk in the U.K. Any ideas what this means? Is it old? It’s a heavy ring. Some sort of copper alloy.
Picked this up at goodwill for $6. Looks like 90% silver, can anyone comfirm/expound on the other mark? Thanks in advance
I don’t know which country this set comes from.
I can't find any information about the maker of this ring.
It's 18K white gold, with a location of Birmingham but I can't find the maker.
I think the hallmark says A.J
Any help is appreciated
Hi! I’m hoping someone here may recognize the maker’s mark on this pair of vintage gold cufflinks.
They are stamped “14K [pictorial/symbol mark] P” on the cufflink mechanism. I can clearly read the 14K and final P, but I haven’t been able to identify the symbol between them.
Also, based on the construction and appearance, does anyone know whether these are likely black onyx with diamond accents? I understand gemstones can’t be definitively authenticated from photographs, but I’d appreciate any observations about what was typically used in cufflinks like these.
I am not sure if the pouch is original to these, but that is what I found them in.
Details:
- Pair weighs 11.40 grams total (approximately 5.7 g each)
- Approximately 1" long × 0.5" wide each
- Yellow gold
- Round black stone/inlay faces, which appear to be black onyx
- Small clear center stones, possibly diamonds
- Swivel/toggle-style backs
- They came with a vintage Letrán Joyeros, San Juan, Puerto Rico jewelry pouch, although I don’t know whether Letrán manufactured them or was simply the retailer
I’ve seen suggestions that the final “P” could potentially relate to a plumb-gold designation, but because there is a distinct pictorial mark between 14K and P, I don’t want to assume what any portion of the hallmark means.
Does anyone recognize the pictorial maker’s mark? I’d especially love to know the manufacturer, approximate era, and whether the “P” is part of the gold-purity designation or part of the maker’s hallmark.
Thanks so much for any help!
Clearing out some of my fathers old things and i’ve found some jewellery - all of which is sentimental but this also appears to tell another story - I know nothing about Hallmarks but are they usually this big??
Does this mean silver plate or actual silver ?

Just picked up this tie tack, and its simply stamped ct... anyone seen this before?
helll, does anyone know who made this? I’s on the back of earrings.
I know what hallmark this is but what is 3p50k mean?
Zooming in on the photo is almost looks like a face. Could it be French?
Hello friends! Looking for assistance identifying the assay mark(s) on the bottom of these cute salt & pepper shakers. Pretty sure the AF is Persian for 84 marking these as silver but not sure what the squiggly mark is. I posted on r/Antiques (https://www.reddit.com/r/Antiques/comments/1vrwiyh/iranian\_silver\_salt\_pepper\_shakers\_united\_states/) and someone suggested checking here. It was mentioned potential armored lion, but when I zoom in it really doesn't look like that to me. Any assistance and/or information is appreciated!
