Love the movie and the series. Love how the game moves away from a traditional retelling of the League of Evil Exes, instead turning the exes into allies and introducing a brand new villainous mystery. Keeps the whole story fresh.
In a massive departure from the original story, several members of the League of Evil Exes (including Gideon Graves, Lucas Lee, Roxy Richter, and Matthew Patel) are fully playable characters or powerful support calls fighting with Scott and Ramona, rather than against them.
Local and online co-op up to 4 players. The gameplay abandons the slow-paced grinding of the original and replaces it with a completely open-world city map, instant access to full move sets, and distinct combat archetypes. Gives it a nice fresh new coat of paint.
Unlike traditional level-to-level arcade brawlers, EX features an interconnected world map heavily inspired by River City Ransom. Players can freely travel through distinct zones—such as High Park, the Shopping District, and the Distillery—to take on side quests, uncover hidden areas, and locate secret shops.
Nice beat em up to add to the collection. Now can we get a Scott Pilgrim 2 movie?

Here's the results of the past few months of questionable financial decisions. I picked most of it up during sales.
I got Xenoblade before the Switch 2 Editions were announced, so I'm probably going to try and sell my Switch 1 copies.
Alright, I bent the knee only because it was on super sale. No other way would I snatch up a GCK. Added on the post the other reason why I wasn't planning too. Already have it on the 3DS. I understand it's a remaster and an upgraded version but not supporting GCK or paying full price for one.
Anyway, amazing journey on the 3ds so expect nothing less with this one. The Nintendo Switch version transforms the original game from a dual-screen 3D handheld title into a 60 FPS, single-screen HD console experience. The remaster updates the visual presentation with high-resolution textures, uncompressed audio, and widescreen-adapted menus. It also modernizes gameplay by adding a 2× fast-forward option for story cutscenes, introducing two exclusive minigames, and replacing the dead 3DS StreetPass feature with standard online matchmaking to help rebuild Norende Village. However, it strips out the original sleep-mode hourglass mechanic and locks the ability to completely turn off random encounters until you progress further into the game.
Anyway posted both Switch 2 and 3ds gameplay for comparison.

Firstly, I want to remind everyone what Bethesda said in February this year (source):
>[...] Bethesda Game Studios [...] confirmed that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered [...] will arrive later this year. This remastered experience will be available digitally at launch, with a physically code-in-box edition planned for a later date.
And yet, we are now getting a physical release of said game. Not only that, the PC version of the game is about 125GB according to Steam (source). So, they ported the game over and decreased the majority of the game (but not everything) down to ~50% of its original size as the biggest cartridge is 64GB big. They are even promoting the game being a truly physical edition (source).
Bethesda is seemingly doing a lot of work to sell a product that nobody cares about. Because only a niche of people care about physical ownership, right? There is no way making great products for consumers could ever be profitable, right? Looking at the recent news from Sony (source), they don't think it is even worth the effort:
>[...] [N]ew games will be available on PlayStation Store and at retailers in digital formats only [...] as the general preference for digital media significantly outpaces physical discs.
There really seems to be an industrial wide effort to take away your ownership and gaslight you into thinking ownership of physical games is inferior to the digital counterpart. Well, it is not working.
I could keep going, but I think the point is clear. Physical games are the superior way to enjoy video games and they are here to stay, regardless of what companies want you to believe. The consumer is voting with their wallet and some companies are starting to listen. The Nintendo Switch 2 has a great future and will be a cornerstone for future collecting.
