So, from an initial price of 68€, the final price of Chained Echoes Collectors rounds up to around DOUBLE THAT delivering to The Netherlands. It's my first one, I've ordered two more and now I'm starting to regret it. Is there anything I did wrong, like choosing the wrong postage service, or should I expect customs clearance each time?
Goddammit UK, y u had to leave EU :/
Hi!
Like half of a year ago my friend introduced me to said band via their "Under A Godless Veil" album. How shocked I was, when I realized that not only it's a great Death/Doom band that I for some reason missed - I honestly believe it's the greatest of them all. Yes, old Katatonia too.
And somehow they released an album on the 8th of May, and I feel like there maybe was a post or two that quickly faded away?
There's a huge post going on recently with "post your favourite 2020+ albums" flair. I scrolled inside it for at least 15 minutes and found NO ONE pointing to their previous record.
I understand that this might he a "taste" thing, and "Under A Godless Veil" happened to aim point blank into the center of mine - it quickly landed among top10 of my favourite metal records of all time, but I believe that there are specifics about this album that make it insanely good regardless of my taste. Doomy songwriting, absolutely poetic esoteric lyricism, phenomenal use of the "beauty and the beast" concept with Heike and Lisa's ethereal, melancholic clean vocals harmonizing with (I believe?) two octaves lower growls of Anders. Flashy soloing wasn't ever an important thing in doom, and yet on the latest record - "In Somnolent Ruin" lead guitar is absolutely beautiful.
Yes, I Know - Katatonia. Yes, I know - Anathema. Yes, I know - Paradise Lost. November's Doom, Agalloch, My Dying Bride and so on. Draconian deserves a spot amongst them - the greatest. In my humble opinion, at the top of the list.
And even I, a huge Death/Doom fan managed to miss them as well as everyone else - are they against some kinda fuckin' algorithm or something?
Please, give them - in a form of at least the album which cover you may see above a listen. You won't be disappointed.
Sincerely,
A new fan that believes this band is for some reason going under everyone radars when it should be in the centre.
Hey!
Recently i've been looking for a new wallet and hey, what about my favourite brand? Do they make any? It seemed like not in the first place, but on both Vinted, eBays/other 2nd hand markets there are many of them. Are they counterfeit? Did Patagonia ever made wallets and these are just old? Where are they coming from? Are they safe to buy? I'm not much into counterfeit stuff, let's say.
Im pretty confused :D thank you for your input!
