late rent fee

We have an automatic payment of our rent through our bank accounts, it declined on the first day, and when the system tried again, the rent ended up being about 2/3 days late. We have never paid late before. Our landlord is saying we must pay a 70 dollar fee, which is in our lease, however I see that this is technically not legally enforced. Additionally, they have been showing up every day to our apartment and knocking incessantly to remind us of this fee, and they live in the building and watch us come home and wait to knock when they know we are home. Now, out of principle we really don't want to pay it.

Is the fee legal, and is it worth refusing to pay? We have already renewed our lease for the following year and plan to terminate it after that.

in person (far away) or online?

I'm taking the LSAT in June, and I am pretty conflicted. I was set on taking it in person but I also know this will be the last chance to take it online, so I am second-guessing. For context, I live in Quebec so I will have to leave the province to take the exam, and I was planning on spending the night in a hotel near wherever the test center will be, but not only will this be pretty expensive, I'm also a bit worried about anything that disrupts my routine too much.

I have heard a lot of horror stories about the online proctoring, but I also am concerned about traveling and sleeping in an unfamiliar place the night before; any tips?

regrade policy midterms

Like 2 months ago, I received a grade that I believed was unreasonable; in a class with an average of A I received a 55% percent on one of the essay midterms (I got As on both other midterms), and after talking to other students, it seemed everyone who had received a very harsh grade and rude feedback had been graded by the same TA. People graded by the other TA received only between 80-100, while this TA gave grades between like 40-60%. (this is also a bird course)

Within days of receiving the grade, I contacted the prof and requested a regrade as I felt the rubric, which was meant to be identical between midterms, had not been followed. The Prof replied and said they would take a look. I have sent multiple follow-up emails since and have not received any updates or a regrade, and the grade has been finalized in Mienrva. Is there anything I can do about this?
