21 Bottles In. Admitting my mistakes—what am I missing, and what needs to get replaced?

The "Nailed It" Tier (Heavy Rotation / Keepers)

  • Liquid Brun (PdM Althaïr) – Easily one of the best clones I own. Never would have imagined I would like this type of scent. Phenomenal vanilla/cinnamon profile, and it lasts forever.
  • Al Wataniah Kayaan Classic (Dior Homme Intense) – Masterpiece status for the price. Incredible powdery iris and cocoa.
  • Khadlaj Shiyaaka Silver (Amouage Reflection Man) – Smooth, elegant, high-end white floral/sandalwood. Zero synthetic edge.
  • L'Aventure Knight (Creed Green Irish Tweed) – My favorite out of everything.
  • Arabiyat Prestige Marwa (LV Imagination) – Wow. Sparkling ginger, tea, and citrus. Hits the high-end summer vibe really well. Wish it lasted longer.
  • Maison Alhambra Jean Lowe Azure (LV Afternoon Swim) – Photorealistic juicy citrus for hot days.
  • Mykonos Conquer (YSL MYSLF Absolu) - Love this so much; might just be my favorite.

  • Lattafa Asad (Dior Sauvage Elixir)
  • Rayhaan Aquatica (Creed Virgin Island Water)

The "Mehh" / Weakest Links (Probably Need Upgrades)

  • Maison Alhambra Kismet Magic (Angels' Share) – Nice opening, but the dry-down drops off a cliff performance-wise. Heard I should look at French Avenue Royal Blend or Sharaf Blend instead?
  • Maison Alhambra Dark Aoud (TF Oud Wood) – Decent vibe, but lacks the deep woody/smoky backbone of the original.
  • Maison Alhambra Tobacco Touch (TF Tobacco Vanille) – Way too clove-heavy for my taste compared to real TV.
  • Armaf CDN Sillage (Creed SMW) – Great trail, but that initial ink-spray opening is brutal.
  • Maison Alhambra Salvo EDP (Dior Sauvage) & Maître de Blue (BdC) – Basic post-gym scents; super average performance and feel a bit synthetic.
  • Maison Alhambra Yeah! Man (YSL Y EDP)

Questions for the Hivemind:

  1. Upgrades: If you were going to swap any of these out for the absolute best high-accuracy alternative on the market right now, what are you picking?
  2. Missing Categories: Looking at my lineup, what major scent profile or seasonal gap am I completely blind to? (I know I don't really have a rich leather like Ombré Leather, or an earthy vetiver like Terre d'Hermès).
  3. What's Overrated Here? What on my list would you dump immediately?

Appreciate any real-world feedback from guys who have actually tested these side-by-side on skin!

Is the inspiration tab on Parfumo reliable?

I'm curious how these are helpful when they seem to contradict each other when drilling down. I haven't smelled the OG, but I'm hoping to find the closest clone of Imagination. This led me to Parfumo for advice.

In the Imagination review section, it appears to imply Marwa and Pure Vision are a wash and neck and neck for the closest. If they are that close, why then, in the Marwa and Pure Vision sections, are they so different? I understand it's all based on votes, but it's somewhat confusing.

To summarise, Marwa and Pure Vision are almost identical to Imagination. Pure Vision is a little closer to Imagination than Marwa. Marwa, on the other hand, is close to Imagination but not close to Pure Vision.

I'm sorry if that's so confusing; I'm new to this and just searching for clarity. Thanks in advance for your input.

CDNIM LE Maturation Question

I just purchased this, and it smells amazing. When I was looking to buy this, I found a site selling the 2026 batch and a 2024 batch. I read several places that the 2024 batch smelled better, but only after its 1-3 month maturation process.

I'm wondering, for a 2024 batch, has it already matured, or does that only happen after a few sprays?

Help needed ASAP

My wife of 30 years thinks I'm getting carried away. She found out I have these 2 orders (pics 3 & 4) on the way and is not happy. I even tried to soften the blow with a preemptive strike by ordering her 3 new fragrances. That didn't work. She got even more upset when she found I have 4 items in my Jomashop cart and the wishlist has climbed to 38.

At any rate, she has said I either return some that are coming or get rid of 4 I already have. The first 2 pics are what I have currently. If I give in to her demands and (not worth a year of torment), I already know Yeah! Man and Maitre De Blue are gone since they are so weak.

I'm torn over the last 2. What would you all get rid of?

Just starting out, looking for advice

I recently became curious about clones, so these are my first 4 (Yeah! Man, MaiTre De Blue, Tobacco Touch, Salvo). I received these only a couple of weeks ago, but I read that they will smell different in 2 months. I love the Tobacco Touch and the Salvo; they last all day. As of now, the Yeah Man and Blue only seem to last a couple of hours.

Will these get better over the next several weeks? Are these even good compared to the OG's, or could I have made better selections?

Lastly, I have another $150 to add to this or make corrections. What would you purchase next to round this out? For context, I'm 55; per others, I look younger and definitely act younger. Thanks in advance for your input.
