Received my Atlantic kit yesterday. And yes, I know, the price is definitely up there for these kits.

With that said, this is a piece of my US service rifle collection I have held off on getting as I wanted a rifle with some wear that would match my Garands, 1903’s etc.

This kit definitely has the exact look I wanted. Overall, I think this kit is in great condition for what it is. No chips or cracks on any of the furniture including no cracks on the buttplate, the bolt is in phenomenal condition, and the bore, while dirty, has strong rifling and no flaking chrome.

For someone that is looking for a sweaty look to their M16A1 clone, this is about as straightforward as it gets. Grab a retro lower, build it out, drop it in, and you’re ready to hit the range.

Figured I would show my example to help anyone decide if they want to pull the trigger on one of these kits.
