BRN Proto

Just won this rifle on Gunbroker for 1825 dollars. These are the listing photos. I have bought it either way, but do you guys think this was a good call? I pulled the trigger thinking I rarely have seen these on sale, and the proto uppers are extremely hard to find and are about 1100 by themselves. I would go well with my other three H&R Retro clones

Looking for adj. stock recommendations that fit the "vibe"

Looking to trade out my Magpul PRS Gen 2 stock for something a little less heavy and more maneuverable. Thinking EMOD or M4. Lets hear it

1950s Dutch-Manufactured AR10 7.62x51 | Flash Hider / Grenade Combo | Perhaps Dutch Army Trial Rifle??? | Made by Artillerie Inrichtingen (the only AI you can trust)

The Dutch-manufactured AR-10 rifles were produced under license by the state-owned Artillerie Inrichtingen (AI) at its factory in Hembrug-Zaandam, Netherlands, beginning in 1958.  Note the very early AR design on this model including the charging handle inside the carry handle and the selector switch with Auto being front facing.

Several different variants of these Dutch-manufactured AR10s were made, some with prong-type flash hiders and a bayonet lug, depending on client requirements. This one has a closed-ended flash hider with a provision for firing rifle grenades, which suggests it was actually made for Dutch army trials but I’m not 100% sure about that. It was perhaps made for the Guatemala contract? Perhaps someone can fill us in.

I made a minor addition to my CAR-15 because my old eyes aren't great with carbine length iron sights any more. Have I blasphemed?

Kern optic mounts I order one about 2 weeks ago and haven’t had any feed from them curious if it’s normal or not? I’ve seen a few in here so was just wondering others experiences.

Windham Weaponry

WW-15, this was my first rifle I ever bought. It’s gone through some changes. Now it’s a full rifle gas dissy.❤️

Do You Folks Think This Magwell Vise Block Would Be Supportive Enough For Stamping?

Hardened steel versus somewhat thin aluminum. I'd prefer not crack/crush any receivers.

I COULD use a block of wood, but it requires me cutting it to size while at work and I'd prefer not to do so if possible.

Touched Grass Today

Got scared, came home to take pics on the closet floor. One star, would not recommend. My guns got dirty, I sweated (ick!!!) and…I used up some ammo.
Big shout out to Bone Frog Ammo. I ran through 500 rounds of their 77 gr OTM and it ran flawlessly in the 14.5, keeping groups to about the size of the palm of my hand out to 200 yards (with the AimPoint and an astigmatism).

Full-Auto Retro M203 | Interesting Combination of Parts | European Collection

Interesting mix of AR15 parts on this AR from a European collector.  The upper receiver is slick sided while the lower receiver is a full-auto Colt partial fence, which was manufactured roughly from 1963-1967.

Meanwhile, the wood stock is probably an aftermarket item as ARs used synthetic stocks from the beginning of the design. Or perhaps someone can correct me on this?

Meanwhile the M203 wasn’t put into full production until 1969 so this was probably added later.

Xm177e2 build. Will update again soon

Bayonet handle is on the way along with brass deflector thanks to one of you fine people. If he wants to publicize himself he can in the comments and I'll ask him before my update post when everything is done(for now)

Build is a Non-NFA other/firearm and is legal with state and federal law. Uncommon outside of my hellish state but very much legal.
