Is anyone else's AC also really bad?

This may be a dumb question, but me and my bf are first time renters and now that summer has hit, it feels like our AC barely does anything. The hottest it gets is 86 in the apartment. Idk if our AC just sucks and needs to be fixed or if thats just florida life. We have a window AC that helps some but it can only do so much. Is there a process of getting a new AC that i can ask my landlord? Should i just cope? Lol

A few questions for my first bioactive tank?

Hello! Im working on my first bioactive tank for my ball python and i had a few questions that i was hoping someone here could answer? Some may be stupid and/or random lol

  1. Should i worry about my clean up crew escaping through the screen top? I got my enclosure from dubia, the top is a heavy duty screen top and i feel like the clean up crew could possibly climb up and escape through the holes. I've seen some people have gaps between the background and the top so that they cant escape but i have also seen many enclosures that dont have gaps.

  2. I bought a really big ceramic bowl to use as the water source. I had an idea of having floating plants in it. I know I'd probably have to clean it out more than usual but i wanted to make sure it wouldnt harm my ball python in any way?

  3. So i bought silicone (specifically the selsil aquarium silicone) and idk what i did but it was very hard to use. I wanted to make sure there would be no leaking, but i had to get my bf to push out the silicone bc it just would not come out. My bf is a very strong guy and even he was really struggling, and I've seen plenty of thin people use silicone so i really dont know what was wrong lol. I wanted to know if silicone is absolutely needed or if theres alternatives? Can i use just expanding foam to hold my decor together?

If theres anything else you think i should know please feel free to comment it. Im hoping to get mostly done this week but i also understand its time consuming. Thank you!

Tips on how to rid/hide ugly tile stain on bathroom floor?

Hello! I have a bathroom that has white tile flooring, and most of it is stained with a dirt-like appearance that has noticeable shoe prints. I've tried scrubbing, using bleach, tile cleaner etc and nothing has gotten it out. I even reached out to the previous renter and asked if he knew anything, which he said he also tried everything. Im debating on either getting a really big rug (which it will look odd since the counter and toilet dont exactly line up), using those stick tiles or just straight up painting the floor. Any suggests on how to clean it or hide it will help, im currently using a regular bath mat to hide it but most of it is still noticeable. Thank you!

Similar recommendations?

Hello!! I was wondering if anyone would have any band/song recommendations that are similar to October rust's sound, especially their song haunted. Ethereal and gothic are the words my mind goes to if that helps any!!

Ways to moisturize the ends of my hair?

Helloo, im currently trying to figure out a better hair routine since i bleached it back in march and i dye it maybe once a month (or every other month). Im mostly struggling with the ends of my hair, using oil makes it very dry. I use redken leave in and it feels great, but once i add oil it makes it dry. I've always seen people either use leave in conditioner or oil but i was wondering if there were other recommendations?
