AirPods Pro 3 Is $169 on Amazon vs $249 Direct From Apple

AirPods Pro 3 Is $169 on Amazon vs $249 Direct From Apple

The AirPods Pro 3 originally launched at $249, and the official Apple website still sells the earbuds at the exact original MSRP with no markdowns.

Amazon is running an incredible deal on the identical pair right now, priced at just $169 — the lowest rate the earbuds have ever dropped to since their release. Best of all, this discounted price is open to every Amazon user, and you don’t need a Prime membership to take advantage of it.

This creates an enormous $80 price difference between Apple’s official store and Amazon’s current offer. Up to this point, Apple has shown absolutely no intention of matching this lower third-party price to narrow the gap.

Accidentally formatted the SD card on Camera, All travel videos disappeared!

I accidentally quick-formatted my 128GB camera SD card while switching storage on my mirrorless camera. All travel footage shot last week is fully gone after the format finished.

Card Details: Sony UHS-II SD Card, stored all my vacation video clips, split into two main folders: Coastal Trip Footage and City Vlog Recordings. Both folders and every MP4 file inside vanished completely after formatting.

I didn’t shoot any new clips or copy extra files onto this SD card after realizing the error, so no new data has overwritten anything yet. There’s no built-in trash or recycle bin on my camera or the memory card itself, so I can’t restore files directly from the device.

I plugged the SD card into my Windows 11 laptop via a card reader and ran basic disk-checking tools, which only showed a blank, formatted partition with no accessible media files.

Is there a reliable way I can complete this recovery on my own at home?? Any advice would be much appreciated!

No More Editing! Office 2019 on Mac Goes Read-Only Next Month

Microsoft announced that Office 2019 for Mac will enter reduced functionality mode on July 13, 2026, caused by an expiring digital license certificate. After this date, apps including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote can only open and print files, while editing, saving and creating new documents will be blocked completely.

This issue also impacts Microsoft 365 subscribers and standalone Office 2021 users on iPhones and iPads. Users running Office 2021 or Microsoft 365 on macOS 12 or iOS 17 and above can fix the problem via regular updates. However, Office 2019 for Mac has ended official support since October 2023, so neither updating nor reinstallation works to reverse the change.

To resume full editing features, Microsoft suggests subscribing to Microsoft 365, purchasing Office 2024, or using free online Office tools via a browser. Notably, Windows and Android devices are not affected by this certificate issue. Besides, Microsoft revised its previous promise that unsupported Office would keep full functionality, only guaranteeing user data security now.

iOS 27 Unveiled: First Developer Beta Now Available

Apple officially revealed iOS 27 during the WWDC 2026 keynote at 1 p.m. ET on June 8, rolling out the first developer beta later the same afternoon. This new mobile system comes with an AI-powered Siri and a host of quality-of-life upgrades for iPhones.

The first build is a developer beta. Users can access it for free by registering their Apple account and device on Apple’s developer website first. After registration, follow simple steps to install: restart your iPhone, open Settings > General > Software Update, then tap Beta Updates to find and download the firmware. Since beta software is unfinished and may contain bugs, it is strongly advised to back up all device data beforehand to prevent data loss.

For ordinary users who do not join the developer program, Apple will launch the public beta later in June, allowing more people to experience iOS 27 early. The official stable version of iOS 27 is scheduled to launch to all users this fall.

Big Battery Upgrades Coming to the 20th-Anniversary iPhone: Larger Capacity & Reverse Wireless Charging

Battery life has always been one of the top concerns for smartphone users, and Apple is stepping up its game significantly with upcoming iPhone models.

Right now, the eSIM-only iPhone 17 Pro Max holds the record for the biggest battery among all iPhones, equipped with a 5,088 mAh cell for improved all-day endurance. Looking ahead to the special 20th-anniversary iPhone, rumors suggest its battery capacity could jump all the way to 6,000 mAh, marking a noticeable boost over the current flagship.

Beyond a larger battery size, Apple is also testing silicon anode battery technology. This advanced material helps extend overall battery lifespan without increasing the physical size of the battery module, striking a great balance between portability and long-term durability.

Another highly anticipated battery-related feature will arrive on the 20th-anniversary iPhone: built-in reverse wireless charging. Once enabled, you can simply place compatible accessories like AirPods on the back of the iPhone to top them up on the go. It will be super convenient for daily use when you don’t have a separate charger handy.
