How do you guys solve the fact that named Characters in the army book are all part of other legions/warbands than the Night Lords when including them in a list?
I feel like many of the characters are staples of the army Cypher, a Huron chosen blob etc. and not using them would take a lot of fun of the codex for me making that not an option and both including them in their own colours and painting them in Night Lord colours doesn't feel quite right either.
For now went with Cypher(the included video) in his og colours as it felt like it could work on one lone operative.
So what's the general take? how does one include (or not include) named characters in the army?
Backpack and head is magnetized to make him into a raptor lord instead.
Themed him around the Lords of the Night descriptions of Zso Sahaal (retractable lighting claws used to climb around with always seemed neat to me) and what kind of Night Lord would he be if he didn't leave random trophies chained to tactical rocks ever so often?
The Glaive is meant to represent either a Daemon Hammer as a foot-lord or a Powerfist in his Raptor configuration.
Not entirely sure about the head yet but I do enjoy the rest of the build. Meant to be a more renegade/undivided-esque Pyromancer than a outright chaos worshipper
Finished my Terminator Lord! The glaive is meant to count as a chainfist.
I envision him to lead my Atramentar Warpstrike Champions and his Khorne theme is due to him functioning like a headhunter leading a blob of likeminded terminators meant for dealing with sufficiently large targets like Knights, Rogal Dorns, Defilers or what ever nasty things 11th ed might throw at is.
Still might use Lord Zhufor's head if I manage to locate the bit but other than that it is probably my favorite model so far in the army.
Basically phases a slaugtherbord into a wolfguard... gonna see if I can get a chainglaive from the eightbound instead of the axe head. Not sure about what head to use either... kinda wanna butcher my lord zhufor for his terminator helmet.
