My defiler

Finally finished my defiler, I wanted like a red glow to illuminate a dark battlefield from the bottom of it so I’ve reflected that in the base or tried to by trying to get red glows on the back of the terrain bits I hope it reads how I wanted it to haha

I painted my first miniature

I am new to miniature painting. So far I only assembled one of the 3 minis from the infernus squad paint set and made him a night lord.
3rd pic is when I was still not finished, but I really like that pic and wanted to share.
It looks messy at some places but i think it fits my favorite chaos space marines.

New start for HH

Kitbashed Nightlord

It took about 4 hours to put him together. The body and head are templar, claws and pauldrons are raptors, and backpack is from an old mini of the month. I made a felt doll of this guy awhile back and wanted to make him into a mini!

Fluff list advice?

I really wanted to make a fluffy list, but also don't just want to get Tabled, is there anything you'd change that sticks with the nightlords themes? Im probably most unsure of what Detachment to run.

WIP round 2: Contrast and details

Metals, bones, flesh and emblems get some colour next.

Bronze trim is a brown/balthazar gold mix, highlighted in pure balth, flesh in screamer pink with the first step of Bugmans glow stippling.

Skulls and trophy bones are gorthor up through screaming skull.

Flesh Tearer contrast over white for the red wings.

A few lighter flesh tones to go on the flayed skin, blue/purple/red washes to break it up, and then washing some of the brighter metals down.

Then, lightning and eyes.

Well on the way to being table ready.

Where to find heads

I got a murderwing/raptor/warp talon kit and I don’t particularly think the heads look very 8th legion to me and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to places to find good heads for sale. I have a 3d printer but it won’t let me put things above the base so it has a first layer I don’t know how to get off. I’m mainly looking for something like the picture above.

I CANT FIND THESE HEADS ON ARCHIE FORGE

I found one on archie forge but without ears, there can i find with them (better on archie forge) and I don’t have etsy. Can someone recommend
a safe place to buy heads ? I am in Austria.
