Fun NL tabletop battle

I played a game with my 19 year old son. He is very autistic and he loves replaying battles... like precisely. He was mad because he wanted to be able to have that "I know the future" part of his tactics. I thought to myself how do we do that?how can we make the tabletop do what he wanted...

So from now on if he plays Talos n friends, he gets to spend command points to play whatever phase his opponents just played.

So i, (me and my world eaterI, wold do our movement phase to position. He burns a command point, and then takes HIS movement immediately after mine. (Represents him KNOWING where to be. He did the same thing with my shooting phase, only I thought I'd trick him and skip it but... I just didn't get to shoot... it was super fun and did exactly what we wanted it to do!

Just excited.ilove anything g he's willing to do with how old man haha

First 40k Atramentar Terminator done!

... At least until I dare adding the lightning bolts, gore, sand pigment and a transfer.

Pretty happy how these turned out from converting loyalists into CSM terminators and here's to making 29 more.

Named Characters within the Night Lords?

How do you guys solve the fact that named Characters in the army book are all part of other legions/warbands than the Night Lords when including them in a list?
I feel like many of the characters are staples of the army Cypher, a Huron chosen blob etc. and not using them would take a lot of fun of the codex for me making that not an option and both including them in their own colours and painting them in Night Lord colours doesn't feel quite right either.
For now went with Cypher(the included video) in his og colours as it felt like it could work on one lone operative.

So what's the general take? how does one include (or not include) named characters in the army?

Been a while

I've been working on painting 21 minis at once so I haven't had a finished new guy for the sub to see in a while. But I stayed up late to finish this Chosen night lord with a combi bolter. He is bald and pale, as all my little buddies are, but clearly he is favored by the gods hence his possessed power pack.

First raider done

First time actually using transfers so they’re probably shoddy looking but I feel like I did a good paint job , only hiccup was when I was trying to dab off the excess nuln oil with a makeup sponge which got some fabric stuck on there which tried my best to clean off .

What do you think a blood condor looks like?

So they mention making blood condors in the books a couple times to strike fear into people around them. I want to make some for my bigger models, dreads knights ect.

I assume it is probably arms spread and then an opened rib cage opened and spread to fill out the torso and maybe disemboweled below the hips?

Does anyone have any recommendations or sources for what they look like ?
