So I was trying to get decent highlights on my paneling for my night lords, and I always use night lords blue.

So I did a full base coat of night lords blue, then a dry brush of imrik blue,

All the trim was done with runefang steel.

And the rest was, flesh tearers read contrast, darkoth flesh layer, aggrathax earthshade, iron warriors, white scar air, and a random warpainters green for energy.

The first picture of the look of the base and dry brush together and the starting point of my models.

I did those warp talons trim different for the first picture so that's why it's a chaos Lord for the final result.

I started building and painting this list about 4 months ago, and it has to be my favorite army between the 3 that I own.

I'd love to see everyone else's painted minis! I love this sub and all the bright colors I see here

I had some left over pieces from my talon of slaanesh kit so I used the head, some dangly bits, some extra skulls, and also some adepta sorotias bits at the bottom too.

I chose a doughnut inspired theme for my mawloc/ trygon and I even 3d printed mini doughnuts I'm gonna paint and stack up in the middle like a stockpile of carbs, I need to print some more before that, the paint isn't done, more like a rough draft

Kitbashed a crucible champion about 2 weeks ago, and I got around to painting him with his glorious zebra (or white tiger) cape, and here's the rest of my characters in my army that are painted and done

I made these legionaries into tormentors, since it only had 1 plasma and melta gun in the pack I decided my sonic blasters are meltas for the sake of knowing what's what, and the plasma and melta will play as only plasmas.

I left all the shoulder pads mostly blank minus 2 extra slaanesh/EC ones I had leftover from other kits, and Al the heads are either noisy marines or infractor leftovers. I even added a slaanesh chaos icon of excess from a talon of slaanesh box I got also.

Just looking for genuine C&C on the kitbash. I know my pod will be cool with it, I just wanna know if this actually says tormentors or not

I made this guy to lead probably my tormentors, cause I'm gonna kitbash a squad of legionaries into tormentors with spare pads I have from other kits.

Soon I'm going to give him a name and proper story of how he became what he is!

Base model is dark apostle.

I used wraith bone for primer and the rest looks so great on top of it!

Had a good day today with all of this! Between the book, the spearhead, an extra box of fiends, I also went and got magnets and a pan for my EC army, almost all of it fits, now I just need another one!

I want to do a carnival of excess list recently, so now I'm diving full into AOS models!

The pod I play in are cool with me using this slightly larger than normal hellbrute proxy I have as a daemon prince, so I finally painted it today

I acquired a box of loyalist terminators, so I turned them into heretics!! I call them my traitor terminators, they defected late after the scattering, they come from the ultramarines chapter. They also all have golden crotch plates

Tbh I do just like how easy it is to paint the not chaos trimmed terminator squad! I hope you like them

I got through my infractors and mauler fiend for my EC list!

So now my whole list I play with is painted and ready for the table! This army is so pretty on the shelf!

I finally painted my 6 best performing models! Now al that's left is a mauler fiend and a full unit of infractors, and tbh I'm not looking forward to the 10 man unit at all, I'm telling myself to save the mauler fiend and a reward for after the 10 stack.

Ignore the unpainted daemonettes, they aren't in the final list yet, there's 1 daemon prince not in the picture for my full 2k list.

I've been in a crusade pod, and so far I'm undefeated in it, but I changed out some units to hopefully make it more fun for everyone else, I personally don't wanna win every time so I changed out the detachment to the coterie of the conceited, and I took my land raider and 2nd stack of infractors out.

I normally do a daemon prince and my terminators in reserves for deep strike.

The sorcerer is going to live in the rhino with the noise marines and their leader, so that way when the noise marines disembark there will still be a good profile for firing deck.

I really like the pink in the army, but I have a pattern plan

All units 2 wounds or less are going to be the alternating black and pink arm plates and leg plates, and their trim is also going to be silver

All unit's with 3+ wounds will be majority pink with gold trim on them.

I hope you like them, so far I'm undefeated in my crusade pod. The next units I need to paint are my infractors and flawless blades!

I got into 40k about a year ago, and the minor kitbash that got me into this game and the night lords, was this dude right here, I saw pictures of it and wanted it so bad, and now I finally got it, built it, and painted it!
