The model is VORUKHAN, MASTER OF LIBERATION from Bestiarum

My warband has a new bossman. Gonna run him as the biggest Lucius proxy; fastest saturnine in the segmentum tempestus.

Took me just over 2 months, but my first full squad of noise marines is complete! Had a lot of fun with it, it was a big project and my first full squad painted using sub-assembly. So proud of how they came out!

Pleasantly surprised how quick and enjoyable it was to paint these up. I actually like the models more than I thought I would but they are a touch small.

Also, playing carnival of excess is a nice change of pace from coterie, highly recommend

I’ve chosen EC to be my third (slow burn) army. I’ve only been playing 6months, I have 4k CSM and 2.5Nids in my arsenal but have always loved how the kinky guys looked 😂, I want to build this army slow and take time painting and building a brilliant team.

How does this ultimate list look?

Just the other shoulder armor and cannons left. Nearly there.

I genuinely thought this model looked dumb as hell when I saw it released, but having recently completed my first unit of six Noise Marines I grabbed the Kakophonist off the pile of shame so I could have a leader for them.

And man he was a blast to paint, no complicated weapons, no crossed arms blocking detail, minimal detail at that. It was ace fun and I think they look pretty rad all together! 🙂

Kitbashed Eidolon from a Wargame's Exclusive Depraved Lord, 30k melee weapons, noise marine shoulder pad and an old jumpack. The original mini is a weird mix of Eidolon and Lucius plus daemonette, so I had to remove quite a bit of possessed bits, obviously female parts and the lame sword it brings from factory. The hammer is made up of a 30k melee hammer, plus the tip of the old Deathwing Knights sergeant wings. The "claws" at the business end of it are hand sculpted.
Painting is not 100% done (as evidenced by the still messy base rim) but I honestly don't know when I'm gonna get around to finishing the highlights and refining the face so I might as well post it; the main attraction of the piece is the kitbash anyway.

Not entirely sure if they will ever make it into a list. But they do look fine... 😎

I have far too many spare parts for EC so I decided to make a hamlet inspired sorcerer. The main body/ power pack is from the noise marine kit. The hand holding a skull is from the flawless blades kit. The staff is a mix of the axe and chaos ring from the Nemesis Claw killteam. The shoulder pads are from the AOS Sigvauld kit. All in all, pretty happy with how this turned out

Finally finished the Emperor’s Children battlebox with painting up Fulgrim. Went way out of my comfort zone painting up white armor. This box was the first time dabbling with oil washes and absolutely loved them. I’m really stoked on how he turned out! Hope you all enjoy the pictures!

My Emperors Children themed chaos spawn. I thought the serpent type body appropriate considering Fulgrum and other snake like Slannesh models.

The orange armor bits are because my EC primary color is orange as well.
