First 40k model in over 20 years
A friend of mine has got me back into 40k after a very long time out. I've been playing legion and crisis protocol with him but im enjoying starting my daemonkin army.

Hey all! Just finished basing my first Berzerker and wondered if the Martian colours clashed too much with the armour? Any advice would greatly appreciated I’m fresh into World Eaters.
Newbie here! I bought these models mainly because I really liked the sculpts and wanted to paint them (don’t judge me) but I’d also like to actually use them for my first few games.
Problem is, I have absolutely no idea what the best attachment to use or how I’m supposed to play them (like strategy wise). Any recommendations?
Also good 2k list. PRAISE KHORN
Hey going to a team tournament and thinking about playing brozessed as an disruption table your enemy pick.
Has anyone had experience with it?
And if so what are the matchups to avoid ?
Took ages but finally finished em, a couple Death Guard bits too which I'm doing lore for
2000 points of Muscle.
Kind of wanna make a World Eaters army since I bought Goremongers back in May/June. But wanna create my own factions lately like I'm doing with my Ogors.
I wanna try to recreate this color but on a World Eaters army. What could work here to pair with the Amber? Could red work or would it look out of place?
Noob question loading》》》》
Are there specific World Eater Terminator shoulder pads/pauldrons available like there are for Red Corsairs and Iron Warriors with their upgrade kits etc? Can't seem to find any that aren't some sort of random recast.
(Pic for attention only)
Hello World Eaters,
I have run into a situation with the Frenzy ability of the Helbrute.
The ability reads:
Frenzy:
(Once per turn, per unit) In the Fight phase, when an enemy unit targets this unit, after that unit has resolved its attacks, you can use this ability. If you do, this unit is eligible to fight (even if it has already fought this phase) and must be selected to fight next.
So, when the Helbrute is attacked before it was selected to fight it simply fights back next, but it doesn't get to fight a second time as part of a "normal" activation, right?
In 12.04 it states, that a unit is eligible to fight if it wasn't selected to fight this phase. So the Frenzy activation stops the normal activation.
The activation order works the other way around, since the ability says so. But it doesn't mention my described scenario so it doesn't work, right?
Thanks in advance for every answer.
I’ve got a tourney coming up in December and I need help optimizing this list, I just haven’t played the new edition yet and am not sure where to go from here. There is 2 rhinos in the list the pic kinda only shows 1. Thank you for your help brothers! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD
Almost finished with my first Chaos Lord. I've painted him to match my current army paint scheme. Mostly shading and extreme highlights to finish. Feedback welcome
The fellblade is done enough to put on the table 👍. It's not finished. I want to add some colors to add some contrast. I'll add white to the lasers and blue to the areas the skulls are on. Sponsons will be finished with color and a few wires. Standard to be created. Possibly add a blade to the front. Still need to paint and glue on the bogey wheel guard plates. But it's ready to join it's brothers as fire magnets 🤣.
All are made of foam covered in card chassis. The rest is junk bits, straws, wire, stirring sticks, and whatever else was interesting and light.
I do love to scratch build👍.
These have been under construction (and the additional 3 Banblades) for the last 5 years. They don't get done very fast 😜. Especially the painting part as I don't paint well 🤣.
Enjoy! and I hope these are inspiring as I love to see what others do with ideas.👍
So I used Punish the craven from the VoW WE detachment which states that if a unit falls back from them they must take a desperate escape and then get -1 if they are battle shocked. From the Desperate Escale rules it says they make a hazard roll and a battle shock roll, which one happens first. The unit that is pulling out is not battle shocked so would it make the battle shock roll first or the hazard rolls first?
Berzerkers, red butchers and chaos lord!
