Just got my first ever pair. I’m a UK 8 across everything so bought a UK8. Toe feels fine, widest part of the boot matches the widest part of my foot, checked against the insole and everything looks appropriate. Yet, my heel is slipping a bit when I walk. I have skinny legs and ankles, is this just a normal part of new Blunnies?

I need a bit of sense checking and validation here. Details of the roast are as follows:

Where I’m second guessing myself is how gentle I’m having to roast at FC and through dev stage in order to achieve sufficient DTR and smooth RoR: First Crack gas setting 5%, dropping to 2% at 187.7c, 1% at 188.6%, 0% 197.7c

Anyone else using such low gas settings through FC and development? And no, I haven’t had chance to cup it yet, production roastery about 2 days behind plan so I’m having to blast it out

Has anyone roasted on a Typhoon? On paper it appears to be a game changer, but I keep hearing negative reviews. Appreciate any input

Just finished watching Tactical Sugar’s Brozessed video and decided to tweak my list.

I’m thinking to scout and push up a brick of 6 Eightbound with SB attached (hoping they survive attacks and make use of bringing one bodyguard back from the dead in the next turn), Land Raider with Khârn follow up, getting buffs from 8B aura. Daemon Prince nearby to provide free CP and get Lone Operative. Jakhals and Forgefiends stay in deployment zone for screening and protecting the infantry from a distance. Deep Strike X8B and Helbrute, well because he’s awesome

I recently raised a concern to my boss that I could use a little more help. We’re a small team, that I lead, and I often work 50 hour weeks, sometimes 12 or 13 hour days. I earn £35k, and when I raised the concern the response was “you’re salaried, so unlucky” and it just got totally shrugged off. No conversation happened as to why I’m working the hours and what we can do to help fix it.

I’ve been in salaried roles before where the expectation was to work 50+ hours but i was compensated fairly for it.

I’m trying to gauge what’s reasonable. Would you work above and beyond for a slightly below median pay?
