Help needed! Spectral nightlords.

Hey, I’m trying to do a spectral or ectoplasm take on nights. I’ve got I’ve got them to a point where I’m happy with the intensity of the spectral green. But I just don’t know where to go from here should I add black or brown? Remove somewhere and add some more weathering?

Just at a bit of a loss and not sure how to improve, thank you !

Finished my Cult of The Black Grail warband

Super happy with how gnarly and gross they turned out. Especially since this was my first attempt at doing something super grimdark.
Models are by Kaitech, but I bought them printed from Etsy.

Black Grail Progress

Dirge of the Hegemon

4 of 5 Mourners (Zombies) finished

2 of 3 Plague Knights almost finished. Planning to add more basing detail, grime and touchup some of the existing details for them

World eaters Unc attempt

Thought it’d be cool to do a few of my beserkers in the 30k colors, but just make it really grimy, blood splattered and chipped, like he’s been around the block a few times lol. Can’t tell how I feel about it yet, let me know!

Would this be considered Grimdark?

I'm hoping to get some feed back and tips on what is going to make this paint job more Grimdark or if it already good enough for the style.

Thanks!

Aeldari Corsair

This is my first mini in 7 years. I think I need to do some tonal variations in the base coat, but overall I’m pretty happy.

Managed to finish the big Dawg himself!

Managed to finish (almost just needs some tufts), the big man himself, Logan Grimnar!

Took a while working in sub-assemblies but thank god for speedpaints and a grimdark theme without too many highlights 😅

Hope you like it and have a great summer!

Herald of Beelzebub (Trench Crusade)

I tooknmy initial color palette inspiration from the great painting Human Fragilty by Salvatore Rosa (painted during the Black Death).

Trying the Grimdark style

This is my first time attempting grimdark. I feel like it looks great so far but I really need some peoples advice lol. I dont like how bright the armor is but Ill probably add streaking grime which should hopefully dull it down more. Any advice is much appreciated im kind of going in blind here.

Heavy Mechanized for Prussians

Decided to apply German scriptures to the armor as benedictions, apply the Prussian Eagle to the right Thigh and and Left Shoulder, and a cross and scriptures to the left thigh. The Right shoulder holds a Heraldic shield featuring a Griffin, and the two tone Camp is meant to represent a Feldgrau and brown two tone.

I matt sealed, smashed it with the TC style, and then decided to make it look like it had rained. I cleaned the upper surfaces of the armor a bit, I use oils and enamels as finishing tools, and sealed it matt first and the as a zenithal, a gloss. The shine effect unifies the ground below him, the mud splattered on him and the top of his armor.

Finally, a blood stripe with the Prussian army motto, Gott Mit Un.

He's a bit messy, but I'm pretty pleased by his outcome.

Krieg steed work in progress

Trying to figure what to do with the krieg steed flesh. Want some opinions on how it's looking. Lord Marshal Dreir as test canvas. Not a very experienced painter, doing my best.
