I decided to swap his head to match the warp talons and better reflect his character.

My lightning is slowly improving, still trying to figure out skull paint and getting those damned teeth right. Next up I’m working on a rhino. Any advice for someone who’s never built or painted a vehicle before?

I plan on using ash waste nomads as my cultists for my army and i think it’d be cool to have the cult’s leader fighting alongside my other characters in the masters of the maelstrom. I’m sure the lady of the ash would be fine for the enforcer but i think her bird would be too big for plunder. Would it matter if they are on the same size base? What are your thoughts?

It’s lame that the legionaries kit doesn’t come with all the heavy weapon options in the first place.

I’m joining the hobby as 11th is kicking off and am posting my army list here for feedback and ideas. Legionaires will be in one rhino and chosen will be in the other, lead by Lord and MoE. Jump lord will be with the Warp Talons. I know cultists are better than Traitor guard but i think the guard are cooler. I plan on mainly playing casual games. I want an army that isn’t meta but competent enough to win some games. What are your thoughts?

On a serious note I’m struggling to paint cool teeth on this guys helmet. It either looks too messy or not cool at all, accidentally ended up with this after painting over a failed attempt lol.

The others in his squad all look more unique, don’t know if i should just keep him simple or add a little more flair.

Still not really sure how to paint lightning lol, feedback is appreciated.
