Don't care if they aren't meta. they are dope models making it into my next list

Finally finished the blades and spikes on this one.
Tried pushing the cold steel contrast against the pale flesh and corrupted purple armor scheme.
So I bought used old combat patrol spare sprues and I have no idea what these parts are, they look cool but I can't even begin thinking what they're originally used as
So I’m currently painting Abaddon and I’ve hit a wall with the face. Has anyone got any tips, paint recipes, or tutorials they’ve followed that really helped? Would massively appreciate any advice 🙌
…and I’m hooked. I haven’t enjoyed painting a model this much since I first started in the hobby a couple of years ago. I picked up a nib 9th edition combat patrol today and have a 4 day weekend coming up and I’m so stoked for more. Blood for the Blood God!
Does anyone know if decals for the Dragon Warriors are available?
Hi I used to paint 40k with my dad when I was younger I remember these models in particular and I’ve always loved there helms is there any newer models that sport them or is there anywhere I could look at getting a fair few and just Kitbashing newer models
Second one down, really like how he came out.
What do you think? Tried to go for vaporwave. Should I commit?
Hi, I'm looking for some advice on how to build my legionaries to make the most out of it. For that I intend to use 10 MK II marines and kitbash them together to get something interesting ( I collect IW, so the aesthetic should fit easily).
Rules wise I've read that 2 melee focused 5-men squads with lascannons are optimal atm. Should I go with this ?
But how should I build the bolt gun squad ? It doesn't have to be particularly meta as 11th is coming anyway but be built in a way that makes sense.
Any pictures of your kitbashed marines or insights on the options to take would be appreciated 👍
I do Orks right now as my first start to 40K, but a lot of Chaos really interest me. Death Guard, Emperor's Children, Iron Warriors and Alpha Legion all are so cool to me.
When I first got into Warhammer I bought a test death guard model and I gave up because of how annoyign I found chaos to paint. Now that I'm more confident in my skills, and primarily use contrast, I want to see if other people think contrast paints work well on chaos.
Do you have any miniatures using contrast paints of chaos to share?
Followed the tabletop ready guide on YouTube:

Please feel free to share tips that I can do to improve 😃
