How I reached 1m faction warfare bonus from yellow zone
since a number of people wanted to know how i did it
i bomb people
my build is this, you don't have to copy it exactly 1-1 i bought the 8.3 bc i like brimstone.
you can just use a 6.3 excellent brimstone and u wouldn't notice much of a difference from an 8.3 one in yellow zone.
this is what i recommend u use if you're starting this out,
- 6.3 brimstone (Q3) (W3)
- 5.3 royal hood (main skill)
- 5.3 druid robe (main skill)
- 4.3 royal boots (main skill)
- 5.3 morgana cape
- a fast mount (i use an owl)
- invis pots
- beef stew
(all excellent and stat is damage)
combo:
robe > Q > Q > Q > boots > helm > invis > (E > W) (only after you're standing on the chest you cast the E, W)
to properly start this you're going to have to meet these conditions:
- your royal city should have a decent bonus for faction points
- the neighboring cities should be fairly active in their respective zones (im in east server so i fight for fort sterling since it's between lymhurst and thetford and both are very active in their camps)
- there shouldn't be alot of solo bombers on an area otherwise you're just gonna divide the points amongst yourselves (unless you decide to combo to kill more then it will be a very hard time for everyone)
- the map should also also contain a majority of your enemy faction (if a blob of your faction shows up then it's a guarantee that they'll brawl and that's bad because what you're targeting are looters)
- you have a decent amount of silver to buy potions and for the repair bill (1m should be enough)
this is how you solo bomb
assuming you've met all the conditions then this is how you will be approaching this
first step is to use your faction transport and get tped into an enemy's contested area and you will see the enemy blob jumping camp to camp.
what you're going to do is look for an uncleared camp where you're sure that the blob will come to next.
be as far as possible from that camp and from the enemy to not get scouted, you only need to get near the camp in the 15sec mark and be unmounted by the 5sec mark
the moment the timer strikes zero you're gonna have to gauge their clearing speed based on the size of the blob but usually you just have to count to 2 sec after it turns zero and then cast your combo and run to the enemy clump
how far u should be from camp when it turns to 5sec?
it's about 2 screens away or however far the royal boots can take you without slowing down when you reach the camp chest (i suggest u practice how far the boots will take you so you can get the hang of it faster)
how to do it right to get the faction points and be profitable?
what you're really counting on is killing alot of people at once and also not wasting as much invis potions, doing it in intervals is cool since you'll be getting the faction defense bonus and you'll have free time to do what you're doing till the time u need to reposition for the next camp
how much do i get every time i do this?
i kill about 10-18 ppl in one bomb and get about 500 to 800 points per kill and i can do it every time my invis potions refreshes its cd so basically it's about 5k - 10k points every time a camp opens up, there is also the faction defense bonus which at times gives a whopping 16k - 24k every 15min or so when there are less people active in your faction but it's commonly just 5k - 8k points for faction defense, but there is also the supply stage bonus and the seige bonus which both gives varying amount of points but never less than 10k(for resupply) and the siege is your best bet in getting a ton of points in my case this is what usually happens
almost everytime it's time to siege lymhurst my faction doesn't bother attacking the castle so i go to the siege and bomb the loothurst blob when they are clearing their camps. I only need to bomb them once and let the siege finish and I'll receive a 24-30k bonus for the siege participation alone and not including the faction defense bonus since the game gives it at the same time.
to sum it up when you bomb near siege times and in siege time you will be able to get 70-80k points in less than 1hr of game time if the stars align in your favour. if it doesn't then I'm sure you've have gotten at least 40k points if you hit some ppl. i noticed that the more i kill the bigger the bonus i get in siege.
what is the difference between rz and yz bombing?
rz bombing is very risky and a bit harder since ppl don't wanna lose their gear but the rewards are 4x bigger than in yz bomb, why i like yz bombing is i can spam it; after i die i revive near and then bomb again.

note: u can use other weapons like energy shaper or glacial but it's up to your comfort weapon.
