Since destroying or fliping battlegear has lots of sources of use, how do you prevent them ?

Sometimes i use some decks with a important gear to make it work and i loose them to a attacks or abilities. I usually prevent mugics like disarm with denials but it looks it does'nt exist a mugic "battlegear cannot be destroy or flipped this turn".
