When I downloaded the update I felt like input lag had gone down somewhat. Game felt more responsive overall. Then I checked my monitor and it said my Switch 2 was outputting 120hz signal. That was not the case in the earlier seasons: Apex always used 60hz mode on Switch 2, even if you had activated "120hz" setting for Docked mode.

This is obviously good thing and can lower the input lag, even if game is still running on 60fps (and it is). Maybe they can give us some kind of unlocked fps "performance mode" in the future? Switch 2 can't do locked 120, but with further optimization we maybe get something. Nintendo could also activate VRR for Docked mode for future update, which would help "unlocked fps" mode to be implemented.

Switch 2 version is getting better season by season. Awesome work by Respawn & Iron Galaxy 💕

Replaced my LG C2 42" after 3 years with ASUS XG27AQWMG. I got it yesterday. My main use gaming wise is playing Nintendo Switch 2. Also Mac mini M4 gets a lot of use and can take full advantage of 1440p and 280hz, thanks to HDMI 2.1.

This monitor is on par (and in some aspects even better) with LG C2. Glossy coating looks lovely, HDR is step up from C2 42" and 27" size suits better to my gaming corner.

It seems to be very good choice if you play Nintendo Switch 2 and want good 27" monitor with nice HDR. Think it like that: most NS2 games are running in 1080p-1440p territory (after DLSS upscale). There is some native 4K games, 4K downscales nicely to 1440p monitor. But MK World is running in native 1440p, same as BotW and TotK, DK Bananza hovers between 1080p-1200p. I can say that those games looks absolutely stellar with this monitor. Grinding Splatoon 3 ranked has never looked/felted better to me. I absolutely love it.

Very very positive feelings after first day of use.
