Hi all, I got my first owner kart (OTK with KA100) a couple months ago and have been practicing weekly trying to get my lap times competitive enough to participate in my first club race a month from now. I still need to improve my driving, but the biggest issue I have right now seems to be setup related.

I’m bouncing a lot in one particular turn (turn 9 at Trackhouse to be specific) and I really can’t figure out why. My setup is pretty standard for an OTK (15mm front spacers, neutral camber/caster, 1.5mm toe out, Type H axle, 1392mm rear width, zip tied third bearing to put it into detail), and I’ve tried just about everything from setup to driving with no luck. The only real difference I noticed from any setup change was going from the N axle to the H, which helped a lot overall, but only a little in turn 9.

I’ve watched a few club and national races there, and everyone seems to be on rails through that corner. I’ve watched several onboard videos from experienced drivers and they’re able to jump back on the throttle immediately with no problem, so I’m not 100% convinced it’s my driving (although I’m happy to be proven wrong).

I’d really appreciate any help on this, I’ve been fighting this every single practice session so I’d really like to finally get to the bottom of it. I can also provide more info if needed, and a video if that would help at all.
