Monitor starts developing horizontal alternating lines after a while.
Hello everyone! As per the title i have a monitor, an LG Ultragear 27GN800 - B (2021), which starts developing alternating gray scale lines on a big portion of the screen after a while, depending on the content on screen. If for example I were to simply browse the internet these lines would show up after 30 minutes to an hour and a half of usage, while when playing a game they would appear almost instantly. I found, when playing a game, deactivating Freesync Premium Adaptive-sync on the monitor slows the lines from showing up and sets them back a couple minutes. These lines are persistent until I put the monitor in sleep mode/turn it off and wait a while before using/turning it on again. They're also alternating in the sense that the lines only seem to happen on a third of the total lines of the screen (1st YES, 2nd NO, 3rd NO, 4 YES, 5 NO, 6 NO, 7 YES, etc...). The conditon also starts from the bottom and gets progressively weaker as we get to the top, until it stops at 2/3rds of the screen. Very slight flickering is present especially at the top of the area taken up by the condition, with ephemeral lines appearing where they weren't for fractions of a second in the same place. I also noticed the lines are ovelayed on the monitor menu, which is rendered directly by the LG and not by my GPU (6900XT) possibly ruling that out. If more images are needed, even of the internals, don't hesitate, they just might take a while to get taken. Thank you all in advance!
