What exactly is a refeed and should i do it

hello, I'm 18m 1.92m (6'3~). my current weight is 104.7kg/230lbs and i started at 118kg/260lbs. im undershooting my calorie goal and im deathly afraid to F up my metabolism.

my TDEE is currently about 2900kcal but its been decreasing constantly.

ive heard a refeed is supposed to help your metabolism during a cut but i dont know if i should be doing it or if theres a way to implement a refeed goal in the app.

sorry for rambling thank you very much for reading this and i also wanna add that this app has changed my life and improved my mental health so thank you to the devs and staff.
