Can we all agree Josh Lucas was the perfect casting for young John Dutton?

Haven’t seen such a perfect casting like this in years. Josh Lucas absolutely the perfect casting for a younger version of Kevin Costner’s John Dutton.

Did the subreddit remove the ability to attach photos and videos?

Idk if it’s the same for everyone, but for some reason I can’t attach videos and photos anymore in this subreddit.

Thoughts on Jamie Dutton as a character?

Jamie to me is one of the most interesting characters in the show. But it seems like Yellowstone didn’t know what to do with him. Seemed like wasted potential imo when they didn’t let Jamie stay in the Bunkhouse. Jamie’s development could’ve been written so much better if they had just let him stay in the bunkhouse.

Is Keisha stupid? Why she acting like he was a saint?

“You killed the father of my child”. So? Any reasonable person would. Why is she ignoring the fact Nuck killed Rob? She knew Nuck was gang leader who was a serial killer and running a traphouse operation to pimp out and traffic females against their will to be raped. Nuck may be the father but any reasonable mother would keep him away from their child regardless if he’s the father because of what he did. Where was this crying energy when Ronnie got killed after saving her life? Why was Keisha cool with Bakari and not mad at him for killing Ronnie, but was crying when he told her he killed Nuck? What are the writers doing bro?

Bakari should’ve been the one to take him out

It just made more sense for Bakari to be the one to take Nuck out. The Tiff thing was too predictable. Bakari taking Nuck out would’ve made up for the shitty writing of Bakari all of a sudden being cool with Nuck after he killed Pastor Jackson (someone who was like a father to Bakari).

Remembering all of Nuck’s victims (excluding Douda)

• Trinity - one of the women Nuck was pimping and trafficking into prostitution in his traphouse to get raped. He killed her after she tried to escape with the help of Imani.

• Pastor Jackson - he refused to take anymore donations from Douda after he realized it was being used for money laundering. He indirectly called Douda out while preaching. Nuck then strangled Pastor Jackson to death.

• Rob - didn’t want to pay Nuck anymore after Nuck forced him to go into business with him. Nuck shot him in his back and put his dead corpse on his mother’s doorstep.

• Kalil - one of the 63rd mob members. Was showing off and being flashy. Nuck shot him after Kalil said he would stop.

• Pastor Zeke - Nuck told Zeke about the murders he committed (Kalil and Pastor Jackson being some). Nuck killed Pastor Zeke to silence the information he told him from getting out.

This bitch really crying over a human trafficking serial killer? 😂

Keisha crying over Nuck was just so unbelievably hilarious. Like why are you crying over someone you knew was a human trafficker and serial killer? Because he’s your son’s father? Any reasonable parent wouldn’t want someone like Nuck in his son’s life.

They really just teased this for nothing

After Reg returned, they made it seem like he was going to go to war with Nuck to get the Mob back. Now in Season 8, Nuck gets killed and Reg doesn’t even takeover the Mob and tells Smitty he isn’t even interested in the Mob. Just doesn’t make sense and wasted potential. Reg had more rivalry with Alicia than Nuck.

How was nobody looking at this dude in disgust for being there?

How did nobody look at Nuck in disgust after he was at the Thanksgiving dinner? Dude was a known sex trafficker and killer. How Papa not looking in disgust at the man who killed his father? He didn’t know Nuck himself did it, but he knew it was one of Douda’s men and Nuck was Douda’s right hand man. Same point with Jake. Jake knew Nuck was running a traphouse operation when looking for Keisha with Kevin and Papa. And Nuck literally pulled a gun on Jake and Kevin. How is Jake not disgusted and repulsed by him being there? Rob also got a gun pulled on by Nuck after he forced him to go into business with him and Alicia knows he shot her son and tried to kill him in the hospital afterwards. Blows my mind they invited a known pimp and sex trafficking murdering rapist to a thanksgiving dinner.

Why couldn’t Bakari tell Keisha the truth to an extent?

I know Tiff and Trig made Bakari tell Keisha that he did it, and I don’t really mind since Bakari brought this on himself, but why couldn’t Bakari just tell Keisha that Nuck killed Rob, show the voice note Zay left Kenya, and then say that’s why he killed Nuck?

Love how they hinted at him being the next Douda just for him to do nothing

All dude did after killing Douda was cheat death, beg for his life on more than one occasion (even though he’s the leader of the 63rd mob, so how are people getting in his place so easily?), recklessly killing people, and get smoked by a baby mama of a man he killed. Douda at least was calculated and made business decisions like investing in Smokey’s. Nuck didn’t do anything other than kill people and beg for his life.

Now that pride is coming to an end, y’all think the Chi were too excessive with the LGBTQ representation?

(Didn’t include Nina and Dre since they were in The Chi since the beginning)

  1. Imani- I liked her character and liked her with Trig but then using her and focusing on her solely for being trans and a Victor gay storyline felt forced. Would’ve been better if they just had her as a woman character

  2. Fatima - Another trans woman that gets with Trig who’s character is only focused on being trans and to question Trig’s sexuality

  3. Serena- a deaf lesbian who gets with Douda’s wife Roselyn. Seemed a bit too on the nose with the representation.

  4. Brittney- Bakari’s lesbian sister who has fling with Jemma who’s been straight for most of the show. Didn’t mind this storyline, but again, felt like it was forced representation.

A bit sad this dude never got any character development since his return

Was so excited to see this dude return after so many seasons later, but he’s just been the same character since he got shot up. You’d think he’d be more humble or cautious ever since he almost died, but he still the same. You’d think he wouldn’t want to drag Jake down that same path that got him shot up, but he told him to put the streets over his safe clothing business. He was definitely the best part of season 7 but it just felt odd seeing him completely the same.

Can we agree that Jamie was not the villain?

Beth and John treated Jamie like shit. I understand Beth being mad at Jamie for the hysterectomy. But John completely treated him like he was nothing. Cutting him out the will even though he made sure to defend the ranch and make sure his family never went to prison. John made Jamie become a lawyer when he wanted to be a cowboy just like the rest of the family. John made Jamie turn into someone that could be leverage to them and they still treated him like crap.

Absolutely infuriating how he got away with it

In season 13 episode 6, Michael Wedmore followed Sarah Welsh and raped her at gunpoint. But got acquitted due to having a very good lawyer. He was never convicted and even after the verdict, Sarah claimed Wedmore was stalking her before getting raped again by a different man.

Am I the only one who thinks this scene was poorly written? Why would Lalo approach Casper with a gun even though Casper doesn’t even know who Fring is? Fring had Casper’s boss killed so both Casper and Lalo hated Gus. Lalo could’ve easily just walked to and asked Casper for the location of Fring’s lab. Also, Lalo’s plot armor was stupid. Casper broke Lalo’s rib and then didn’t swing after Lalo approached him with a gun? It would’ve made more sense to have Casper kill Lalo and then Gus would just be living in fear not knowing if Lalo was alive or dead.
