My gsp broke his nail off to the bed, so he’s getting his paw cleaned, healing stuff from vet, gauze covered then wrapped with the self stick bandage wraps.

I’ve also been putting those rubber easy paws over so he doesn’t mess with the wrap itself- they’re the correct size and I can always stick a finger or two in.

HOWEVER, whenever I take it off or see that it might be bothering him - it’s damp underneath. Like condensation type damp.

I am so confused? Where is this water coming from? He wouldn’t be able to access the inside of the rubber cover, he hadn’t been outside at all the past few times. Am I doing something wrong?
