Just some appreciation for my mom. Her service is Saturday.

My mom was 19 in the first photo, 17 in the second. She was homecoming queen her senior year. The third photo was a few years before she got sick and the last was her birthday last June. She was 71 when she passed last month. Even through the haze she loved her grandbabies, especially my daughter Maddie who’s sitting with her on the couch.

She started sundowning over the summer last year, if you had told me last fall she had less than 6 months, I wouldn’t have believed you. She was full of piss and vinegar and hated her caregivers. Then in January of this year things really started changing physically. Developed mobility issues. In march she stopped taking interest in eating and drinking. She was in hospice just over a month before she passed.

This disease is cruel, and unpredictable. You never know how much time you have left.

Something Wicked Live Cleanup

Alright so since the band requested people take videos and post them up, I don’t consider this a leak. I ripped the audio from the YouTube video and cleaned it up. Free to download for anyone who wants it because it’s publicly accessible and out there for free as well, this just makes it easier to listen to.

THAT BEING SAID. An OFFICIAL STUDIO release will still be considered a leak. I will not allow that to be posted here before official drop so bear it in mind.

Rockville tonight

Hey guys so my thinking is they’ll close the set with Something Wicked but IF NOT I won’t consider it a leak to post live videos because the band is performing it publicly. So if anyone’s got them, you can post them. So spoiler alert for anyone who wants to wait for the drop.

My mom was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in 2023. In March she was placed in hospice and last Monday she was placed active. I’ve been by her side the past week caring for her, administering medication and at 4am went to give her another dose and her heart rate was 28BPM.

My dad and I sat with her for awhile and left the room. We weren’t sure why she was hanging on but she has for the past week. I’ve administered what I think will be her final dose of morphine and I’m allowing her privacy to pass.

I noticed earlier tonight her breathing had become more labored and they upped her morphine to once an hour. She was a fighter and I’m proud of her.

This is a cruel disease that doesn’t see to have a ceiling. For those in here afflicted my heart breaks for you and your family. It takes everything from you. First it takes your personality then it takes your mind and then it takes your life.

I cannot believe she’s going to be gone. I’m still relatively young. 37.

Thoughts for my mom please…she was an amazing woman.

Edit: Mom passed around an hour ago. Her fight is over.
