I made a post a few weeks back about Wizard and Glass being a struggle to get through, and I had to follow up now that I'm entering the final act. I'm about 70% through, and I have to say... wow. This has picked up.

I am absolutely hooked. I find myself listening any chance I get — on a walk, at the gym, before bed, while I make food. It was a very slow burn, but it is paying off in a big way now.

The tension is so high. The stakes feel enormous. I feel like the characters are all doomed, and it's got my stomach in knots as I read. You just get the sense that something really bad is going to happen. This is the most hooked I've been on a King book since (*checks reading list*) The Wastelands.

I'm on the edge of my seat. I don't want to spoil anything, especially since I've seen a few posts from fellow readers lately, some saying this book isn't hooking them. I can vouch, as someone who was pretty bored through the first half, that it gets really good.

I will most likely have to vent once I finish.

I have pick 12 and looking at taking 2 RB's. These are the 3 I'm leaning towards but cant decide which 2 - as you can make a case for each one. Achane has the pass catching upside, Jeanty could take a step forward, better team/situation, Henry is just so solid especially as your RB2, plus gets better in the winter. What do you all think? Or if there is a better combo im not considering.

Im basically the last pick of my rookie draft and on the clock. My league mate is offering me Boutte for my pick straight up. Does Boutte have any upside or should I take a flier on someone? Its all dart throws at this point.

Im on the clock in my rookie draft currently at the 4.10.

I've drafted Tate, Price, Singleton, and Raridon.

I don't know much about these remaining guys, but these 2 are available and look the most promising of who is left.

I’m having trouble picturing them in my head. Anyone from pop culture you associate with them or do you make up random people in your head?

Why is Rose using her actual name and revealing her entire story right out the gate when she gets to her new town?

In the beginning of the novel she's being extra careful - talking about how she cant leave any traces, use fake names, etc. Just 2 chapters in and she has blurted out her life story and full name to a bunch of randoms the first town she gets to. I'm confused by the choices and its taking me out a bit. She also tossed her cc in the trash before leaving town. Smh

Can anyone clarify the rationale?

We all hear of the dreaded rebound headaches and "dont go over 10 days" limit. As someone who experiences headaches daily for over a year and half, it can be extremely anxiety inducing, resulting in making myself suffer through most of the days, just to stay under the limit.

I'm really curious how all of you go about navigating this balance. I have gone weeks at a time of suffering through headaches with no meds. Its been 6 months straight of being under the limit, and i still get them almost daily. I'm tired of suffering for some arbitrary number but also don't want to not go off the rails.

How do you all go about this? whats your mental state like dealing with this? Do you give yourself grace when needing to take meds or do you feel weighed down in fear of this rule? Please drop some wisdom on me and god bless you all.

I have the 1.02 and 1.04 in my rookie dynasty draft. If I go Tate at 1.02 I risk Price getting snagged at 1.03 but then I could grab Tyson/Lemon at 2.04.

If I go Price at 1.02 I most likely lose out on Tate then have Tyson/Lemon at 1.04.

My starting WR's: Puka, JSN, Nabers, Watson
My starting RBs: Jeanty, Kyren, Skattebo, Brooks
