Essentially me (M18) and (M24) met on a dating app yesterday and are moving closer to possibly officially dating, to the point that both of us deleted said dating app from our phones.

The person seems kind and like a great match, I don’t see any red flags. However, a friend told me this is possibly a red flag due to our age gap and how we met recently.

I’d just like Reddit’s honest thoughts before I pursue this person further.
