The Nordic orders whatever the bartender is having and somehow looks better drinking it than anyone in the room.
The Gray just stares at everyone’s drinks with those enormous eyes, orders nothing, and makes the whole bar deeply uncomfortable.
The Insectoid asks to see management.
The bartender says “we don’t serve your kind here.”
The Reptilian shape-shifts into a congressman and opens a tab immediately.
The Nordic has already been served — turns out he owns the place since 1987.
The Gray still says nothing. Nobody can tell if it’s still there. Everyone feels vaguely probed.
The Insectoid files a disclosure request for the drink menu.
Mulder bursts in claiming he can prove what he just witnessed.
Scully says there’s a perfectly rational explanation.
The check comes back classified.
The bartender slowly removes his mask.
Underneath is another mask.
He removes that one too.

He was the Insectoid the whole time.
The truth was in the FBI the whole time and nobody thought to look.
