I was in the lounge after a work conference and saw someone from a rival company taking a call on speakerphone speaking about a deal I actually knew about because our company was trying to land that same contract.

Pro tip: Do not air confidential info in a public place and not after a conference where more than likely many people from the same industry will be there and know whats happening. Also stop showing everyone your branded work backpack.
