For decades, data has been treated as something passive — it sits in tables or graphs until a human or model queries it. I’ve been thinking about a different future architecture: systems where the relationships and signals update themselves as new information arrives.
In this idea, the reasoning doesn’t happen in the data itself, but in the layer built on top of it. New inputs could trigger automatic propagation through a graph, surfacing connections or anomalies without being explicitly searched for.
I’m curious how people here think about this direction.
