Another year, another European heat wave. You would assume that since this has been happening every year for over a decade they would modify their building codes or something, but nope. Apparently, we are backwards for wanting to live in comfort/not die during the summer.
Title; Upgraded from a 9900k to a 9850x3D, computer obviously is way faster with the new CPU. Something I noticed though was the jump in performance with loading games loading is similar from whenever I upgraded to a SATA SSD to an M2, while still keeping the same PCI-E 3.0 M2. Am I good to hold off till the price stabilizes or am I leaving potential performance off the table because I’m just ignorant(in the actual definition) of how fast modern drives can be? I primarily use my computer for gaming, so am I leaving potential FPS on the table by not upgrading my SSD?
