I’m trying to get a rough cost estimate on the build. I’m doing most of the work myself. I feel good about framing walls and everything that comes after but foundations are not my ballpark. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Rural Ohio, there’s nothing local code wise to worry about, just ohio code. Going with a pier/post or a pier/beam foundation. Frostline ~36”, clay, ~10-15° grade. 20’x40’ cabin w/ lean to roof, partial loft. What size footers and diameter piers do I need to use? What would the spacing be? What width exterior beams and headers would I have to go with? Any help on cost effective joist size and spacing would be appreciated too :)
