While watching, I was expecting a clear resolution for some situations that would make the message clear, and even though I loved the season, the ending has me wondering if I missed some stuff.

Joshua made the biggest sacrifice, ended up being abandoned, which is like - okay one good deed doesn't make up for a lifetime of mistakes, and Ashley and Austin got what they wanted through being, morally wrong to say the least, and even though they're miserable (implied but not stated) it's not a strong resolution or a learning point of the stories. What are your thoughts? I feel like the season was headed towards a certain lesson but just never got there or I'm too dumb to pick it up
