Our preschool is recommending an evaluation for our son.

They were on the fence about this as our son doesn’t exhibit typically neurodivergent traits, but he’s been getting into a lot of conflict with peers and teachers as he can be stubborn and struggles to follow schedules.

I’m worried that if we cooperate and he gets misdiagnosed with something more severe than what he is, it’ll impact his future. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience on this?

I’m so desperate. My 2 month old is struggling to breastfeed from me because my flow is too fast. Please help!

I’ve tried everything. Every position: reclining, side-lying, laying flat on my back and having her on top so gravity is completely against the flow. Every supply about: I had oversupply then I managed to get it down to undersupply then now back to her feed amount, but at all times my flow has been too fast. I’ve been battling with this for 4 weeks now. She’s crying because the milk is hitting her too fast.

Please tell me there are some unconventional, unheard of solutions out there. I had the same fast flow issue with my son but he just fought through it eventually, but my daughter seems more sensitive. What can I do to fix my flow??? Please help.

Edit: I’ve already tried pumping minimally beforehand and hand expressing and catching the first letdown in a cloth. The problem is I have recurring, multiple fast letdowns within one feed. The lactation consultant said I had tried everything they would’ve recommended.
