2014 Titanium Suggestion/Tips
My son has a 2014 Escape Titanium with the 2.0 Turbo. It has 130k miles on it. He's has had it since he bought it with 18k miles. It's been a good car for him with few issues and he'd like to get it to 175-200k miles. It's been feed a steady diet of Full-Syn. oil, had the tranny drain & filled at 75k and the cooling system flushed at 100k. The only issue I've noticed, I change the oil, is it seems to be a quart low on oil if we run it out to 5k miles with 5w30. Last sumer we ran 5w40 and it didn't seem to be low when we changed the oil. Right now we change it every 4k miles. He'll need to put new tires on it this summer along with a new battery (going on 5 years). Any suggestions on how to keep it going? I'm thinking another Tranny drain & fill this summer and keep any eye on the oil level. Thanks for the suggestions.
