Went from 17 burpees to running on a treadmill without dying
Hey everyone,
this is actually my first Reddit post ever. I feel so hyped right now.
7 Kilometers in 75 Minutes on indoor Treadmill.
I’m 33 years old and I’ve hated sports for basically my entire life.
Because of an anxiety disorder, exercise became kind of my last lifeline, so I thought: screw it, I’ll just give it a try.
I started with the busydadprogramm burpee program and worked my way up from 17 burpees in 20 minutes to 90 in 20 minutes now.
Last week I got sick, so I still didn’t feel 100% ready for burpee training again. I looked at my dusty treadmill and thought, “why not just try it?”
Honestly, I’m blown away by the result. I never would’ve expected this.
I was able to stay in nasal breathing the entire time, and cardio-wise it didn’t even feel that hard. My legs definitely felt it though.
I still weigh 112 kg and I’m definitely still pretty chubby
So maybe this helps someone out there:
if I can do this, literally anyone can.
