Thick tissue instead of a sac
I had a weird ultrasound at 7+2.
Visualized thick endometrium, 24mm. They commented that they may not be able to find the sac due to gestational age, and booked a follow up for 8+2. This was an IVF baby. I'm worried about an ectopic. They said it's 50/50 retained products of conception, or gestational age leading to the lack of a sac. Blood test comes back as pregnant, but because I live extremely rurally I'm not able to get a number on it. I'm driving 2 hours for bloodwork to get a beta after my ultrasound tomorrow.
Does anyone know what the hell is going on?? Do I have any hope? Is it possible that tissue overgrowth is blocking visualization of the sac?
