Hi! For some context: I’m a recent psych grad with long term goal of PhD in Clinical Psych, I graduated with a 3.85 and have a couple of internships under my belt. I unfortunately did not get the research experience I wanted/needed to be a competitive candidate for any RA/CRC positions however.

Anyways I’ve ended up going through application/hiring process for two jobs 1) TMS Technician w/opportunity to get involved with research 2) Milieu Counselor on an adolescent inpatient unit

Does anyone have any advice for what might be better to go with?! They both have their pros and cons I’m just largely trying to build up my experience without needed to a masters, but have been considering applying to MPH programs just because I’m also interested in environmental health and health psychology. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, advice and insights!!

TLDR: Which is better entry-level post-bacc job when research is not an option? TMS Technician or Milieu Counselor?
