Hi all, just made my first pair of pants as a beginner based on Cornelius Quirring’s pattern drafting tutorial (and many sample pants made of old bedsheets). I’m already quite happy with how it turns out, but I also see a lot to be fixed, there seems to be wrinkles on the front and flaring pockets.
Would it be correct to assume it’s due to too much tightness around the hips ? If anybody has any tips and feedback on that issue or others, for me to improve my pattern for the next pair I’d be very grateful !!!

Edit: forgot to mention, it’s a rather thick woven cotton
