NMIMS Hyderabad or KJ Somaiya?
I know most people will immediately say KJ Somaiya is better, but lets talk realistic, fact-based opinions.
I’ve connected with alumni from both Nm BLR and Nm Hyd. The majority say there isn’t much difference between NMIMS Bangalore and Hyderabad anymore. The Hyderabad brand is growing, while Bangalore seems stagnant. NMIMS BLR’s average has dropped from 14 to 13.5 LPA and the median from 13 to 12 LPA as per their this year placement report. From what alumni tell me, NMIMS Hyderabad’s numbers are also in a similar range now with most of the batch placed.
On the other hand KJ Somaiya might be superior. But the concerning point is KJ has a huge batch size, and the placement report highlights the “average for top 300 students getting around 13-15, rest settle around somewhere between 9-11.
So, can the two really be compared on facts and is kj worth it keeping the competition in 600 students Or does NMIMS Hyderabad make more sense now, given its growth and comparable numbers which one will give better brand reputation in long run?
