My daughter 8F, 133cm height and 33kg weight, suddenly developed this pigmentation on her hand on the tail end of a 7 day vacation in Bali. We stayed at a resort and only left once to go to the local supermarket 5 min walk away. She wore sunscreen and did not get sunburn on her hand, though he shoulders and legs got a mild burn on day 1. The pigmentation has not changed since it appeared 2 weeks ago, and has not faded. No redness or itching. No significant prior medical history, just rhinitis allergies to cat dander & dustmites. No previous skin issues. GP is unsure what it is and we have a referral to a dermatologist however there is a long wait and I’m keen to get some insights on what this could be.
